Great game and effort put on by both teams, and the atmosphere was definitely buzzing.. it had the feeling of a playoff game.  I’m sure River will be bringing it in the rematch at Boca, so both teams better be ready!!

Finally finished the pics and album for Margaret & Roulis.. I had the great pleasure of shooting the marriage of Margaret and Roulis at the beginning of this year; it was a great way to start 2009!  They have a daughter who just turned 1, and is absolutely adorable!  

Here’s a couple of pre wedding prep shots.  Margaret is one beautiful bride, and she looked simply stunning on her wedding day.  It made for wonderful shooting.  Roulis my friend, you are one blessed guy!

Shot a great rehearsal dinner at Cafe Abracci; the See the full set of proofs HERE. The restaurant itself was very hip, but still quite refined.  The low hanging ceiling was a beautiful piece in itself, even if it did wreak havoc with my white balance all night!  It was a time of celebration, the smiles were flowing and so was the wine..

Covered the Miami Tattoo Expo @ the Miami Convention Center.  Definitely a different type of crowd from the everyday Boca yuppy!  If you wish to see the full gallery, look  HERE

The first thing that surprises when you walk in is the sound of many many artists at work, a constant hum permeates the room throughout the day; at any given time I’d estimate 40+ people are getting inked.

Kids were not only there in support of their fathers getting tattoos, but one 9 year old was actually giving tattoos!  I guess you have to start them young.

There were also plenty of hot cars and bikes to be seen.

Even the massage girls were showing off their body art

This guy had an awesome leg piece just completed.

In addition to the tat’s, there was also piercing and body modification.

There was so much more, check out the full photo site HERE if you get a chance.  The expo as a whole was a huge success and something I’d recommend anyone check out.  The sheer magnitude of so many people showing off art on their bodies is really something to see; it’s enough to make any conservative right-winger think about where he or she might want to start her first piece… but remember, before you rush out, there’s a reason these guys are in business too!

We moved to our new home in North Boca this weekend.  Quite an expansion from the small 2/1 we were all spending most of our time in, so the new house, space, neighborhood (and additional bathrooms) are all things to be thankful for!

In addition to the move, I have caught quite a bad cold from Connor.  I’ve gotten very little sleep over the last week and this has definitely hindered my recovery.

Getting to photos.. for the following time being, I will use this blog to update and notify of shoots that have been posted, plans to post, and any delays or modifications.  Eventually it will be a full-fledged photo blog.  Here’s the plan for posted shoots:
